Research
Dimitri is the contributor primarily responsible for the symbolic-dynamics portion of the 70k-env pool. His work centres on environments where the dynamics are most naturally expressed in symbolic terms — discrete state, structured rewards, programmatic rule sets — and where the right unification with physical and social dynamics is non-obvious.
He is a co-author on the 70k-env study and on the lab's compositional latent dynamics result; he is one of the two contributors most often credited with the bridge between bessel-04 and voronoi-19.
Dimitri is based in Yerevan and is the lab's primary point of contact for two universities in the Caucasus region. He is one of the few contributors who has lived in all four anchor regions (briefly), though he settled in Yerevan in 2023.
